One of the best story concept LPs they made (without Smokey Robinson). It touched subjects Motown always shy away from (The reality of L.A., drugs, prostitution, homosexuality, and burning out). Produced by Freddy Perren who did production later for Tavares, Gloria Gaynor, The Sylvers, and Peaches and Herb.
It features the gold record hit, "Love Machine" -full version!!
