Not only was this co-produced by Wes Ferrel (The Partridge Family, The Cowsills, Brooklyn Bridge)but the original LP concept was politically incorrect. The all black group wore black tuxs. white gloves, big bow ties and blond (OMG) curly afro wigs!! some songs more disco pop than dance funk, it was a fairly good LP. the concept killed it a bit. plus it was 1979- disco was burning out.
A funny note-Burt Sugarman has some production in this too, so the group make their debut on the Midnight Special tv show (Burt owned the show! hmm.....)
